Josué Thomas is an artist and designer who founded the Los Angeles-based Gallery Dept. His work is informed by his experience growing up in the South Bronx and his desire to create new opportunities for artists of color. In 2017, he launched the “Gallary Debt” t-shirt project to support artists struggling to pay their gallery bills. The shirts feature original designs by Thomas and are available for purchase on the gallery’s website. Visit the Gallery Dept Clothing’s official store to shop for many more products online.
